    Litiana Lagibalavu
    Yoga Teacher, 32

Liti is an Indigenous Fijian woman who studied Yoga in the lineage of Krishnamacharya, through his student, Mark Whitwell.

The Yoga she teaches embraces the innate intelligence of your mind, body, and breath, gracefully guiding you into a natural state of relaxation and rejuvenation. Through this practice, you deepen your connection with yourself and the ‘Mana’ (Spirit) of the ‘Vanua’ (Land and Ocean) around you, fostering a profound sense of ease and harmony with yourself and the earth.

Beyond teaching Yoga, Liti is a dedicated mother and social entrepreneur, collaborating with rural Fijian women to create and export traditional crafts. She serves on the Board of the Heart of Yoga Foundation and is the Co-Focal Point Officer for Gender and Human Rights at the Alliance for Future Generations Fiji. In her free time, she enjoys free diving, hiking, and the occasional headstands on a stand-up paddleboard.”

    Our
    Story

    Get to Know Us

I still remember the first time I sat in my mums village home, surrounded by the sound of waves and the smell of sweet juicy mangoes, as my nau wove a mat and shared tales of the two sisters Laso Levu and Laso Lai. Recently , during my stay in Nabukeru , sitting in a high rise bure enjoying the freshest fish and lolo I’ve ever had in my life - those memories rushed back to me like a river bursting its banks . It was in that moment that I realized that holidays in Fiji don’t have to just be about beautiful beaches, diving with sharks or ticking off bucket lists — it could embrace connection, healing, and tradition 🌺

That is why I created Sacred Waters Fiji: Yoga & Cultural Retreat—a wellness and cultural experience that invites guests to step into the heart of Fiji’s villages, immerse in our traditions, and find healing through yoga, storytelling, and nature.
